Competition: The McNulty Cup, presented by Mrs. Maura Brennan For Boys under 12 years of age.
1st Prize: Cup & Gold Medal
2nd Prize: Silver Medal
Test Pieces 2024(a) Lin Marsh: Windy Weather (Faber) Lin Marsh Serendipity - or - The Best of Singing Grades 4-5 (high or low)
(b) Own Choice - a setting of an Irish folk song or an original song by an Irish composer
Songs to be sung in English. Song (a) to be sung in 1st round, song (b) on recall only.
If recalled, two copies of song (b) must be provided - for accompanist and adjudicator.
NB: In 2024 there will be no recalls. Competitors will be required to sing both songs in competition
Official accompanist must be used, both for test and own choice pieces
