Competition: The Dorothy Mayer Foundation Cup, presented by Ceol Chumann na nÓg. Minimum players: 15. NB: Competitors must be registered students of the school represented. The following instruments are essential - First violins, second violins, third violins or violas, cellos. All other orchestral instruments are optional.

1st Prize: Cup and Certificate

2nd Prize: Certificate

Test Pieces 2025

Contrasting pieces of own choice. Playing time not to exceed 15 minutes.

A proportion of the marks will be given for the musical value of pieces selected

NB: Competitors may not perform in more than one orchestra.
