Competition: Age Limit: 15 to under 18 years. Monetary prize awarded by the Rathmines & Rathgar Musical Society
1st Prize: €200 & Gold Medal
2nd Prize: Silver Medal
Test Pieces 2025Competitors to perform a solo song from the Musical Theatre/Light Opera Repertoire. Performances must be from an official version, and may be sung in a key suitable for the voice of the competitor. Piano accompaniment only. Costume optional.
Competitors must use the official accompanist provided.
Please note: A proportion of the marks will be awarded for acting through song and appropriateness of repertoire to voice type and stage of vocal development.
A copy of the music must be made available for both the adjudicator and the accompanist on the day of competition. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. Please refer to Rule No. 26 in Feis Ceoil Regulations for further information.
