IMRO Award - Chamber Ensemble

Competition: Chamber Ensemble Composition. The competition is open to all persons of Irish birth, those having at least one Irish parent, and to all bona fide residents in Ireland for a period of at least two years prior to the 1st of January 2026 Age limit - under 40 years on 1st January 2026

1st Prize: Eric de Courcy Cup and IMRO €500 Award

Test Pieces 2026

An original composition for chamber ensemble, plus an accompanying programme note, approximately 200 words.

Time limit: 5-10 minutes

Previous winners are not eligible.

*Monetary award subject to IMRO grant application

Each manuscript must bear a 'nom de plume' only.

Translations of Irish words must accompany manuscripts.
