RDS and Feis Ceoil - New Partnership

RDS Feis Ceoil School Choir & Orchestra Day

Feis Ceoil is delighted to announce a new three-year sponsorship agreement with the Royal Dublin Society (RDS), solidifying their long-standing partnership in supporting the development of classical music in Ireland.

The 2025 Feis Ceoil will feature a revised format with a dedicated RDS Feis Ceoil School Choir and Orchestra Days, taking place on March 31st and April 1st, 2025, at the RDS campus in Ballsbridge. This initiative will provide a unique platform for young musicians to showcase their talents.

All solo, ensemble, and adult choir competitions will take place from June 7th – 15th 2025 at the DCU All Hallows campus in Drumcondra.

The prestigious RDS Music Bursary will continue to offer unparalleled opportunities to five senior Feis Ceoil winners, with most generous annual bursaries in classical music. Competition interviews and the Awards ceremony being held at the RDS Concert Hall in July. As before, the winners of the following five senior Feis Ceoil competitions are eligible to compete for this annual prize: Morris Grant Bursary (Piano), Gervase Elwes Cup (Vocal), Mc Cullough Cup (Woodwind), Senior Brass Recital (Brass) and the Aileen Gore Cup (Strings).

As a Foundation, the RDS is committed to supporting projects that align with core values and strategic priorities. This sponsorship reaffirms the organisations dedication to supporting Ireland’s rich musical heritage and empowering the next generation of talented musicians.
