Exciting news!

Feis Ceoil is moving to a new venue in 2025, and we can't wait to welcome you there.
New Location: All Hallows DCU Campus, Drumcondra
Dates: Saturday, June 7th – Sunday, June 15th, 2025

We're thrilled to announce that all solo, ensemble, and adult choir competitions will now take place at All Hallows DCU on Grace Park Road, Drumcondra, Dublin 9, during the second week of June.

The competitions will be held in Purcell House and The Chapel on the All Hallows campus, which offers many rooms and spaces with fantastic acoustics. The venue also has free parking, an on-site café, and overnight accommodation options for those who need it. It is also easily accessible by bus, DART, and train, so getting there is simple for everyone.

As always, we’ll have dedicated rooms for warming up, tuning, and playing silent pianos.

We're confident that this new venue will be a great fit for Feis Ceoil competitors and audiences, offering both excellent facilities and convenience.

RDS Music Bursary

The RDS Music Bursary will continue to operate, with the qualifying competitions taking place at All Hallows DCU in June.

School Choir & Orchestra Competitions

Location: RDS
Dates: Monday, March 31st & Tuesday, April 1st, 2025

While most of the festival is moving to DCU, we're delighted that the school choir and orchestra competitions will still be held at the RDS in a special two-day event during term time.

RDS Feis Ceoil School Choir competitions: Monday, March 31st
RDS Feis Ceoil School Orchestra competitions: Tuesday, April 1st
St Bartholomew’s Church Organ competitions: Tuesday, April 1st

Important Dates

Entries to all competitions will open on Monday 4th November 2024. Please note the new deadlines for entries:

School Choirs, Orchestras, and Organ: Friday, February 7th, 2025 at 5:30pm
All other competitions, including composition: Friday, March 7th, 2025 at 5:30pm

Adult Choir competitions will take place in the chapel at All Hallows on Saturday 7th June

The preliminary round of the Choral Conducting competition will take place on Saturday 7th June, with the final on Sunday 8th June.

The preliminary round of the Orchestral Conducting competition will take place on Sunday 8th June, with the final on Monday 9th June.

Dates for all remaining competitions during the June Feis week will be announced on feisceoil.ie at the end of April 2025.
