Competition: The Gus Smith €1,000 award presented by his family in his memory. Open to Soprano, Mezzo-Soprano and Contralto voices. Arias to be sung in original key but may be sung in any language. Competitors must provide their own accompanist.

Mezzo-Soprano:     (a) Si le Bonheur/Faust - Gounod
or                                (b) Pauline's Aria/Queen of Spades - Tchaikowsky
 
Contralto:                 (a) Lullaby/The Consul - Menotti
or                                (b) Va tacito na scosta (Julio Cesare) - Handel

NOTES: (a)  In the O'Mara and Geoghegan Cups arias may be sung in any language. Competitors must provide their own accompanist.

(b) In competitions nos. 3.03 - 3.09 competitors may enter for not more than four of these competitions.
